Entrepreneur Immigration

Access provincial entrepreneur streams designed to attract business owners who will create jobs and contribute to local economies. We help you identify the right provincial program, meet investment thresholds, and develop viable business proposals.

Self-Employed Persons Program

For people with relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics who want to become self-employed in Canada. IRCC paused new applications to this program on April 30, 2024; we can review other options that are open.

Entrepreneur Work Permits (C11) and Owner-Operator LMIA

The C11 work permit is LMIA-exempt for entrepreneurs and self-employed people whose business will bring a significant benefit to Canada. The owner-operator route is different: it requires an LMIA. We help you choose the right route and prepare a complete application.

Intra-Company Transfer (ICT)

Transfer key personnel — executives, senior managers, or workers with specialized knowledge — from your foreign company to a Canadian branch, subsidiary, or affiliate. We guide you through establishing qualifying corporate relationships and meeting ICT program requirements for seamless employee mobility.

Investor Programs

There is currently no federal investor program. Quebec runs its own Investor Program with its own net worth, investment and French-language requirements. We provide guidance on eligibility, requirements and application procedures.

Start-Up Visa Program

For entrepreneurs with innovative businesses supported by a designated organization. IRCC has paused the program and is not accepting new applications; we can advise on provincial entrepreneur streams and work-permit alternatives.
